Every detail counts
Situated in the Prut river terrace area, with a fairly uneven relief, ranging from 1-10˚ per plate. The Prut River Basin is characterized by a continental climate with very cold winters and very hot summers.
The average annual temperature is 9,6˚ C. The amount of temperature for the vegetation period is about 3000˚ C. The rainfall regime ranges around 540 mm, with more significant amount in spring (24%) and summer (38%).
Harvesting at the optimum time, maceration for 24 hours under the action of enzymes to extract flavor and color at 10°C
Every detail counts
Harvest on 11th of September at 25°C. Brix follow by alcoholic fermentation in closed stainless steel tanks with gentle cap irrigator for 21 days. The whole lot was aged into 225 lt and 300 lt Romanian new oak barrels, where the wine finished malo-lactic fermentation.
This wine is produced by a famous Romania winemaker Aurelia Visinescu, known for her wines witch reflects the character of the wine variety with strong influence of the terroir. Aurelia’s wines are special wines, with personality; they are made with care, dedication and artistry.
